Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain the corrosion prevention of the intended metal body at its best with the minimization of the high frequency noise by invariably retaining the potential of the metal body at a set level through proper control of the value of rectified wave form of the single phase AC sine wave current per unit time.
CONSTITUTION: The potential of the intended metal body 5 detected by the checking electrode 1 and the set potential of the variable resistor 2 are inputted into the comparator 6 as difference voltage d with the triangular output voltage of the oscillator 4 through the differential amplifier 3. The gate pulse b is outputted to the thyristors (SCR) 10 and 11 only when the square wave voltage e of the comparator b is at a high level and the output currents f and g of the SCR 10, 11 get together whereby the current with continuous sine rectified waves reaching output current h is fed to the anode 21. The output current flows to the metal body 5 through the electrolytic solution 21. The time ratio at which the output current flows from the anode 21 and the value of rectified sine wave contained according to the ratio as fixed are proportional to the difference voltage d. Thus, the output current is automatically controlled by the difference voltage d.
