Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a control for both the rising and falling times of a transfer pulse to be supplied to the CCD, by combining in terms of time through several RC time constant circuits consisting of a CCD driving circuit and a transfer electrode capacity.
CONSTITUTION: When a low-level signal is put into the terminal IN1, the MOSFET Q1 is turned on. And the load capacity CL is charged by the RCL time constant. In this instant, if a low-level signal is put into the terminal IN2, Q3 is turned on. And the capacity CL is charged by the RCL time constant. Then Q2 is turned on with Q1 and Q3 turned off respectively with an input of a high-level signal to each terminal. Thus the charge of the capacity CL is discharged via Q2. Accordingly, the variation is reduced for the rising time of the transfer pulse. In the same way, controlling the RC time constant regarding Q2 and Q3, an optional falling time is obtd.
