Abstract

PURPOSE: To save energy consumed in a fuel preheating system of a gas turbine, by transmitting the waste-heat energy possessed by the lubricating oil system and the waste oil system of the gas turbine to a fuel preheating means via piping, and thereby eliminating an electric heater, small boiler or the like that have been required for preheating fuel.
CONSTITUTION: In a gas turbine plant, air compressed by a compressor 2 and fuel controlled of its viscosity at a fuel preheater 11 are combusted in a combustor 8, and the combustion gas is sent to a turbine 4 for performing work and thereby driving a generator 5. Here, lubricating oil in a lubricating oil tank 12 is supplied under pressure by a pump 13 to portions of auxiliary machinery 1, compressor 2, turbine 4 and generator 5 where lubrication is necessary, via a heat exchanger 16 and oil supply pipes 14. The heat exchanger 16 is cooled by water supplied from a radiator 19 via cooling-water piping 18. Here, fuel preheating piping 22 is connected to the cooling-water piping 18, in the manner that a portion of the piping 22 stands in heat-exchanging relationship with the fuel preheater 11. Thus, it is enabled to make an efficient use of heat energy.
