Abstract
PURPOSE:To reproduce the signal with a high precision, by providing a smooth and transparent coating layer having no dust and foreign matter between the transparent base material and the inorganic thin film photosensitive layer, in the optical disc. CONSTITUTION:The multilayer structure is given where smooth and transparent coating layer 2 having no dust and foreign matter is provided on at least one face of transparent base material 1 consisting of synthetic resin and inorganic thin film photosensitive layer 3 is provided on this coating layer 2, and transparent protection layer 4 is provided according to the purpose of the use. In case of reproducing due to the reflection light, it is effective that metallic film 5 is provided on inorganic thin film photosensitive layer 3.
