Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A form memorizing alloy of an intermetallic compound such as Ni-Ti, Al-Cd or Cu-Al-Ni is used as a core body, and the surface of the body is coated with a Pd-Ni alloy or the like and further coated with a layer of a noble metal such as gold by plating. Thus, by using such a form memorizing alloy as the base material, lightweight frames with superior elasticity and corrosion resistance can be obtd.
