CONSTITUTION:In case that an electric power source on a receiving terminal side becomes abnormal and signals can not be sent back to a transmitting terminal side normally, relay 11 detects the abnormality of the electric power source and sent- back signal generator 9 is put into operation by electric power from electric power source 5 that feeds electric power to repeater 4 on the transmission side. Therefore, whdn a transmission line is normal, the transmitting terminal side can receive the normal sent-back signal. As a substitute for the normal sent-back signal, a signal reporting the abnormality of the receiving terminal may be sent out of the receiving terminal side to put alarm unit 7 into operation.
