Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent overheating of the heat collecting part and also prevent the degeneration of an operating liquid or the like by accommodating the heat collecting part of a heat pipe within a vacuum tube and arranging a heat exchanger with a liquid to be heated and a heat pipe for heat radiation are arranged at the heat radiating part.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collecting heat pipe 1 is constituted such that an operating liquid such as "Flon" or the like is sealed in an enclosed tube 4 having a heat collecting part 2 and a heat radiating part 3, and a tube 5 through which a liquid to be heated flows in the direction shown by the arrow is inserted into the heat radiating part 3 to form a heat exchanger. The heat collecting part 2 is encircled by a vacuum tube 6 made of a transparent body such as a glass tube or the like. The vacuum tube 6 is supported by support legs 8 provided on a heat collecting plate 7 provided with a flat-plate-shaped selective absorption membrane fitted to the heat collector 2. On the heat radiating part 3, mounted is a heat radiating heat pump 9 having a characteristic of increasing the heat transmission efficiency at a temperature of 100°C or more, for example to prevent an excessive increase in the temperature of the heat radiating part 3 and also prevent degeneration of the operation liquid and damage of the enclosed tube.
