Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the yield of a material by a method wherein after two or more component members of gasket made of a compressible gasket material are assembled mutually, these are compressed to the plate thickness direction to make them into an integral body.
CONSTITUTION: Two or more gasket constituent members 5 each of which has a concave part 3 and a convex part 4 at near both ends are punched from a compressible gasket material 1 which is previously compressed. These members 5 are assembled. Next, thereto, each gasket constituent member 5 assembled is compressed by means of a heat press machine 8 over the whole parts, a space 6 of seams between each member 5 is filled with the overflow of the material, thus, making them into an integral body.
