CONSTITUTION:From the anode side of single gate-circuit DC power source 23, turning-on switch 14 and turning-off switch 19 are connected in series via resistor 22 and the other terminal of switch 19 is connected to the cathode side of power source 23. Further, one terminal of turning-off switch 29 is connected to the anode side of power source 23, and one terminal of turning-on switch 24 to the cathode side of power souce 23; and the other-side terminals of both switches 29 and 24 are connected to the cathode of gate turn-off thyristor (GTO) 1. To the connection point of two switches 14 and 19 connected in series, one terminal at the cathode side of diode 21 of the circuit composed of capacitor 18, resistance 20 and diode 21 connected in series is connected and the other terminal of the circuit is also connected to the gate of GTO1. Then, CTO1 is connected to main power source 2 in series to load 3.
