Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution and to make small the size, while holding the characteristics of the predistortion circuit, by outputting a signal without distortion reflected via a resistance circuit and a signal with distortion signal component reflected via a nonlinear generation circuit after synthesis. CONSTITUTION:A signal input from the terminal A of a 90 deg. hybrid 101 reaches the terminals C, D, and the signal reflected at the terminals appears at the terminal B in-phase. Since the terminals C, D are connected with a signal branching circuit 102, nonlinear distortion generator 103, phase shift circuit 104 and resistance circuit 105, the signal without distortion reflected via the circuit 105 and the signal including distortion reflected via the nonlinear distortion generator 103 are synthesized and appear at the terminal B and are obtained from the terminal 2 as the output of the predistortion circuit after amplification 106. Thus, while keeping the characteristics of the predistortion circuit, the circuit constitution is simplified and the size can be made small.
