Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely cut off the disconnected distribution line from the bus system and prevent an electric shock accident in advance by forcibly causing ground-fault of one phase of sound phase and operating a relay in the event of occurrence of a disconnection.
CONSTITUTION: Circuits aWd are connected respectively via circuit breakers 5 to the bus 4 of a distributing substation 1, and disconnecting detecting voltage relays 7 and disconnecting switches 9 for causing ground-fault are provided between the respective segment switches 6 of every circuit. If one phase (w) of 3-phase wires disconnects at the point (x) in the circuit (a), for example, the vector of the input voltage of the relay 7 changes and the disconnection is detected by the relay 7. The disconnecting switch 9 of the (u) phas of (v) phase is then closed and a ground- fault of one line is caused. This causes the ground-fault relay 12 at the lead-out port of the distribution line to operate surely, thereby cutting off the disconnected distribution wire (w) from the bus 4.
