Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the solar battery unit and to decrease the cost thereof by eliminating an enclosure formed at a panel element by connecting and arranging a plurality of panels formed of solar battery cells having transparent plates on the light receiving surface thereby forming the battery unit by treating a waterproofness thereon. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of solar battery panels 2 treated with waterproofness and with transparent plates on the light receiving surface on one flat plate 1 treated with waterproofness are placed in space and are arranged in lattice state with the light receiving surfaces upside, waterproof sealing agent 3 such as silicone rubber or the like is filled in the space thereamong, and are covered with ultraviolet ray preventing shielding plate 4. The same agent 3 is formed on the outermost edge of the panel 2, and waterproof structure 5 of inverted L shape in cross section is mounted along the outermost edge while covering thereon. Thereafter, the panels 2 are mutually wired using recess formed on the surface of the plate 1. Thus, it can simply prevent the entrance of water into the back surface of the panels 2, thereby eliminating the enclosure for the respective panels 2.
