Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a mechanism and heighten the efficiency of heat collection, by translating a solar light condensing lens in the axial direction of a heat collection tube in the revolution following of a solar heat collector.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collection tube 11 is oriented north and south and inclined in the latitude of ϕ. A fixation pin 18 is loosened to swing a lens moving arm 17 to translate a condensing lens 12 along the axis of the heat collection tube 11. As a result, the distance between the tube 11 and the lens 12 is changed. In that case, the arm 17 is swung by the double of the change in the elevation angle of the sun so that sunlight transmitted through the lens 12 is collected onto the tube 11. Since the angle of the arm 17 is adjusted once per several days, sunlight is efficiently collected all the year round and a revolution following mechanism is simplified and a heavy collector can be manufactured.
