Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of final residue by collecting mechane at a high yield by eluting and separating protein, etc., by making specific hydrolase react upon paper-containing garbage, by performing elution by adding cellulase to paper or the like, and by carrying out anaerobic digestion together with the above-mentioned eluate.
CONSTITUTION: Paper-containing garbage (a) is fed into easily decomposed component hydrolyzing tank 1 together with water (b) and "koji" (malted rice) C (obtained by cultivating a product germ such as amylase, protease and lipase where garbage exists) and starch, protein and fat are eluted by decomposition; and slurry (d) is separated by sepatator 2 into hydrolytic solution (e) and residual cake (f) through solid-liquid separation and cake (f) containing paper and fiber, water (g) and "koji" (h) (obtained by cultivating a cellulase product germ) are supplied into decomposition tank 3, where decomposition is carried out. Then, they are separated by separator 4 through solid-liquid separation and in anaerobic digestion tank 5, the anaerobic digestion of hydrolytic solution (j) is carried out together with said hydrolytic solution (e), so that while gas (l) of about 51% in methane concentration is produced, the amount of final residue (k) will be reduced.
