Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep combustion always in an optimal state and to control the air- fuel ratio in a stable and reliable manner, by providing a unit for detecting the changing speed of combustion rate which detects the operational speed of a combustion air controlling unit, and controlling the air-fuel ratio in response to the output signal of said detecting unit.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a unit 37 for detecting the changing speed of combustion rate which detects the operational speed of a combusting air controlling unit 34. The unit 37 is connected to a combustion controlling unit 27 to interrupt control of the air-fuel ration when the operational speed of the combusting air controlling unit 34 is higher than a predetermined level. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to keep combustion always in an optimal state by controlling the combustion rate continuously and widely and also to control the air-fuel ratio in a stable and reliable manner even if the flow rate of combusting air is changed rapidly by a quick combustion-rate changing instruction.
