Abstract

PURPOSE: To give a compensation to the stop position of a travelling object, by detecting the magnet provided at the prescribed position of the rotor with the magnetism detector to simplify the constitution of the position detector, forming the blind sector by the signal of the detector and then rotating the motor across the blind sector.
CONSTITUTION: The magnet 3 having the different poles in the moving direction is mounted at a part of the rotor which is driven by the motor 1, and the magnetic flux of the magnet 3 is detected by the magnetic flux detector 4. The output of detector 4 is supplied to the comparison part 5 to be compared with the reference value and in a range corresponding to the prescribed stop position. Then the output signal which varies plus and minus centering on the reference value is produced to be supplied to the control circuit 9. The section of the zero-level of the signal detected through the part 5 is defined as the stop position of the motor 1, and the stop position signal is applied to the motor driving circuit 21 from the control circuit 9. The output of the circuit 9 is defined as the blind sector when the output of the velocity detector 11 becomes near zero. Then the motor 1 is rotated forward or backward across the blind sector to give a compensation to the stop position.
