Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve higher hardness and durability of the construction of supports and slide pins by securing the slide pins to a caliper and sliding the slide pins inside supports respectively.
CONSTITUTION: Slide pins 7, 8 are secured to a caliper 2 and respectively slided inside sleeves 9, 10 which are inserted in two bosses of a support 1 and disposed on the both left and right sides of an inner pad 5. Thereby, a braking torque transmitted from the inner pad 5 may be directly applied to the support 1. When another torque from an outer pad 6 is applied to the support 1 via the caliper 2 and the slide pin 7 or 8, the torque which is applied to the caliper 2 from the outer pad 6 may have a more reduced effect on the area where the slide pin 7 and the support 1 are slided than a conventional effect as much as those distance is reduced.
