Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate installation of a permeation material for remaining dissolved gas, and to prevent overflow of oil due to the damage of the permeation material, by a method wherein a molding, in which a high polymer film is monolithically united with a porous plate, is placed oil-tightly at the opening of a casing of an oil immersed machine, such as transformers.
CONSTITUTION: A molding 20, in which a high polymer film is monolithically united with a porous plate 21, is used as a gas permeation material. The molding 20 is positioned so that it closes an opening 12 of a casing 10 of an oil immersed machine, and is mounted oil-tightly by coupling together to a flange 11 and a member 5 of a gas permeation chamber by means of a fixture 6. After the high polymer film 22 is placed on the porous plate 21, the film is molten by heating to higher than its melting point thus the molding 20 and the high polymer film 22 are monolithically united together by pouring a part of the high polymer film into each hole of the porous plate 21.
