Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform grasping and moving of moldings from a molding machine up to a trimming device rationally without any waste by using a timer as a time control element at the time of moving the die-cast molding from the molding machine to the trimming machine.
CONSTITUTION: The gripping device coupled to the 1st reciprocating body which reciprocates between the molding machine and the trimming machine reciprocates between the position I-A on the trimming device side and the position II-A on the molding machine side. Between the opposing dies for trimming, it reciprocates between the position I-A and another position I-B, and on the molding machine side, it reciprocates between the position II-A and another II-B. From the position I-A, it advances to II-A and once stops, then it advances to II-B, receives the molding from the molding machine, and grips the same, further it returns to II-A then to I-A and from I-A it advances toward one of the opposing dies for trimming and advances up to I-B where it releases the molding just before trimming by the opposite dies for trimming, after which it returns to I-A. The controlling of the moving start of this gripping device is accomplished with lapse of time by means of a timer, whereby the operations thereof are performed rationally.
