Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption in the titled process remarkably, and to recover the vaporized gas continuously under high pressure, by operating intermittently a plurality of vaporizers disposed in parallel, thereby carrying out the introduction and discharge of sea water under normal pressure. CONSTITUTION:Sea water is pumped up with a sea water pump 17, and introduced into a vaporizer 19 through a pipe 24. On the other hand, LNG is pressurized with a pump 16, passed successively through a pipe 23 and a vaporizer 19, and vaporized. Produced NG is introduced together with sea water through a draft tube 25 into a separator 22, and recoverd through an NG pipe 26. The separated sea water is returned to the vaporizer 19 with a recycling pump 18, and the sea water discharged from the vaporizer 19 is introduced into a deaerating tank 36 to recover the dissolved NG as low pressure NG. The vaporizers 19, 20 and 21 are operated intermittently one by one by the change-over of a valve, and the cycle consisting of introduction of sea water, vaporization, and discharge of sea water, is repeated to recover high pressure NG continuously.
