Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify fitting works of a fluid pipe and ensure its fitted condition, by connecting the fluid pipes in a trunion shaft through a manifold and by welding this fitted portion.
CONSTITUTION: The first fluid pipe 5 to which manifold 7 has been fitted, is inserted into horizontal hole 3 of trunion shaft 1 from the furnace body side through window 10, and is connected to flow route 9 of rotary joint 9. Then, the second fluid pipe 6 is inserted into vertical hole 4 of trunion fitting part 2 and inserted to manifold 7. Under this condition, a welding rod is put from the furnace body through window 10 and the end of the second fluid pipe 6 is welded to welding fitting member 11 of manifold 7.
