PURPOSE:To raise the cooling effect by forming vent holes at the peripheral surface of the boss cylinder of a rotor spoke arranged with annular rim on the outer periphery and the axial end thereof, thereby forming a cooling air passage in the boss cylinder and thereby reducing the air flow resistance to the rim duct. CONSTITUTION:The annular rim 3 is arranged on the outer periphery of the rotor spoke 2 and salient poles 4 are mounted on the outer periphery of a rotor, vent holes 9 are formed at the axial end 2a of the rotor spoke 2, and a number of vent holes 10 are formed on the cylindrical surface of the boss cylinder 2b of the rotor spoke. Thus, since the cooling air flow resistance to the rim duct 5 can be decreased, the cooling effect can be improved.
