Abstract
PURPOSE: To utilize the solar heat effectively and save energy by a method wherein a solar cell is used as a driving power source for an electronic control circuit which controls the cooking sequence of the cooker, and the solar cell is placed at the light window side or the like of a kitchen.
CONSTITUTION: The solar cell 2 is placed, for example, at the light window side of the kitchen and converts the solar energy 1' emitted thereto into electrical energy, which is stored in an accumulator battery 3 through a diode 13. When a burner 8 is ignited and a switch 4 is closed, power is supplied to the electronic control circuit section 5, starting a normal operation. In the control circuit section 5, when the output of a temperature sensor 9 is lower than a setpoint, the output of a comparator 17 becomes high and a buzzer 11 does not operate. On the other hand, when the temperature is raised above the setpoint, the output of the comparator 17 becomes low and a current flows into the buzzer 11 to inform the user that the predetermined temperature is attained. The solar cell 2 may be separated from the cooker and be placed at the window or the like.
