Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform uniformed chemical grouting in a ground improvement method of injecting chemicals while a soft ground such as sludge is agitated by a method wherein agitating elements having a different length of projection are rotated to perform a simultaneous operation of the agitating operation and a steaming of the work vessel.
CONSTITUTION: Agitating device 4 is provided with a driving power unit 6 at its tip while the agitating elements 8 are rotatably arranged between the side plates 7 and 7. The flat plate portion 23 positioned at a central part of the axis 11 is provided with agitator blade mounting block 24 in such a way as it may be moved radially by a length of longitudinal hole 24a. The rod 25 of the hydraulic cylinder 20 is extended in the same direction as that of the longitudinal hole 24a and further connected to the cylinder 24 for fixing the agitating blades. Thus, when the rod 25 is operated by the hydraulic cylinder 20, it is possible to make the cylinder for fixing the agitating blades 24 eccentric with respect to an axis of the shaft 11. The blades positioned below are projected in the longest distance by varying an eccentric amount of the cylinder 24, so that the agitating devices are advanced in sequence under the reaction of the projection and the vessel may be advanced in reference to the movement thereof.
