Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the absolute value of a gain according to an increase in the absolute value of a signal level by providing a negative feedback circuit to a switching circuit in an amplifier where an electric power voltage to be supplied to an output-stage amplifying element is changed over according to the signal level of an input or output. CONSTITUTION:The power amplifier is composed of the driving circuit composed of the output-stage amplifying element of transistors 31 and 32, the switching circuit composed of amplifier 38 and negative feedback circuit 50 composed of resistances 41 and 42 and capacitor 43, and differential amplifier 53 composed of transistors 51 and 52. With the output of circuit 53 in this constitution, transistor 54 and also transistor 55 are driven to supply the voltage, developed at the emitter of transistor 55 to the collector of transistor 31 via coil 40 and also to feed it back to the base of transistor 52 of amplifier 53 via circuit 50. Thus, the gain of amplifier 38 is increased and diode unit 45 connected to amplifier 52 is allowed to rise smoothly, reducing noises.
