Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily rectify scatter of the jetting properties, by displacing a liquid resistance regulating member provided in an ink introducing pipe by magnetic force outside the ink introducing pipe to regulate the cross sectional area of the ink passage thereby applying a suitable resistance to the ink that tends to flow back. CONSTITUTION:When a permanent magnet 10 is allowed to approach from the outside of the ink introducing pipe 6 to the plane liquid resistance regulating member 8 comprising a magnet and having resiliency provided within the ink introducing pipe 6, the member 8 is atracted and is bent, so that the cross sectional area of the ink passage in the pipe 6 is reduced. That means the resistance of the fluid is increased. Since this resistance can be varied by displacement of the permanent magnet 10 through a regulating screw 11, a suitable resistance can be applied to the ink that tends to flow back when the vibrating unit applies pressure to the ink, so that an amount of the ink to be jetted from the nozzle can be optionally varied to readily rectify the scatter of the jetting properties.
