Abstract

PURPOSE:To record directly a stable recording picture on the common paper by a method wherein a thermal image corresponding to a thermoelement is produced on a thermosensitive ink film and a fused part only in the thermosensitive ink film is transferred to the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The thermosensitive ink film 2 which has a thermosensitive ink layer 4 on a flexible base 3 is circulated endlessly and the thermosensitive ink layer 4 is let to have a uniform layer with a definite thickness of a thermosensitive ink supply system 7. There is provided a back roll 8 to transfer efficiently to the ink layer 4 the heat energy (heat source) the heat recording head 1 produces according to a picture signal. The thermosensitive ink layer 4 in the thermosensitive ink film 2 is fused partially according to the picture signal and transferred on the recording medium 5.
