Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the key signal in a high grade to reproduce a shadow, by eliminating the high-range noise out of the 1st signal which passed through the color matrix circuit of a color TV and then giving a level control to the signal. CONSTITUTION:The output signals R, B and G of the color camera 2 are applied to the hue matrix circuit 3 to obtain the signals (a) and (b) selected to the prescribed hue each. The signals (a) and (b) are supplied to the subtractor circuit 5 to deliver the color difference signal (A). The signal (A) is shaped into the sharp hard key signal by the stretch amplifier 6 and then supplied to the gate amplifier 14 through the delay circuit 7 and in the form of the hard key signal (B). On the other hand, the signal (a) is applied to the LPF8' to eliminate the high-range nose, and the level is controlled by the level controller 10. Then the shadow key signal (C') is sent to the renear gate amplifier 13 through the delay circuit 11 and the white clipper circuit 12 each, and the back shadow signal (F) is supplied to the amplifier 13 from the color camera 1. Thus a high-grade chroma-key compound signal (E) is delivered from the amplifier 14 to reproduce a shadow.
