Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain high-precision detection with simple constitution by letting a light source come on intermittently and also by supplying a signal processing circuit with a photodetection signal switched with an inversion output responding to the intermittent supply of an electric power source. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric detector consists of the light emission part composed of electric power supply deciding circuit 1, charging circuit 2, oscillating circuit 3, light-source driving circuit 4 and light source 5, and the photodetection part composed of photoelectric converting circuit 6, amplifying circuit 7, filter circuit 8, signal processing circuit 9, intermittent electric power supplying circuit 10 and photodetection-signal switching circuit 13. Further, the light emission part and photodetection part are connected to each other via electric power lines 14 and between light source 5 and photoelectric converting circuit 6, photosignals are transferred through optical system 15 such as a lens.
