Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure automatically the user's temperature at a prescribed time even while he is sleeping, by using a thermometric equipment mounted on his body surface, a timer circuit to set a measure time, a temperature display means, and so on.
CONSTITUTION: Timer circuit 20 outputs a signal repeatedly at the 24hr period; and when signal TS1 becomes level 1 after 6hr and so on from input of signal SET, heater 17 is caused to start heating through NOR gate 39; and after that, when signal TS2 becomes level 1, surrounding material 16 of heater 17 becomes the same temperature as temperature sensor 13 at this time to prevent the heat flow from the human's body surface toward the external, and therefore, FF26 and counter 27 are set. After that, at a prescribed time, FF26 is reset to terminate count of counter 27 when signal TS3 becomes level 1. Since this time is determined by the time constant of potential drop determined by the resistance value of thermistor 13b of the temperature sensor, the count value becomes a temperature corresponding to the bodily temperature. As a result, the bodily temperature is measured automatically at a prescribed time.
