Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The sheet 1 on which the mark information has been recorded is set in the direction which marks the longitudinal direction of the mark parallel with the subscanning direction, and the sheet is conveyed by the rubber roller 2. The encoder 3 coupled directly with the rubber roller 2 rotates the rubber roller 2, at the same time outputs a signal showing the sheet conveying amount, operates the pulse counter 4, and conveyance of the sheet 1 reaches the prescribed amount. Namely, when the pulse count number has reached the prescribed value, scanning of the line sensor 5 is started.
