Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure a sharp injection and thus to improve combustion by a method wherein an oil pressure is generated on an oil pressure generator when injection of the fuel by a fuel injection pump is just over, and then it is led to a valve closing oil pressure chamber of a fuel injection valve.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection valve closing pressure regulating device 1,000 having a cam shaft running at a speed equal with a fuel injection pump 100 is provided, and such a part as will stop an oil pressure sent by the device 1,000 is provided in a fuel injection valve 9. The closing pressure regulating device 1,000 and the injection pump 100 are almost same of a constitution, and a timing to operate feed/exhaust oil holes 1,061, 1,062 is changed by rotating a plunger 105. When a fuel injection is just over after starting and a plunger lead 51 ascends to reach an exhaust oil hole 62, the plunger 105 ascends and its top lead 1,051 is energized to close the feed/exhaust oil holes 1,061, 1,062, thus giving a sharp injection.
