Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent slip of a tire effectively by a method wherein fine steel wires are embedded in a rubber at a tread portion of the wheel tire.
CONSTITUTION: Steel wire frames 7W10, provided with multiple fine steel wires 11, 12 which are directing to proper directions respectively, are embedded in a rubber portion corresponding to a tread portion of a wheel tire and respective tip portions of fine steel wires 11, 12 are arranged at the same surface of the rubber tread portion. According to this tire, compressing action is caused in the rubber portion at tread portions 5, 6 by a load during running and the tip portions of the fine steel wires are exposed from the surface of the tread portions by lengthes corresponding to the compressed amounts of the rubber portions, thereby, an effective skidproof action is effected. Further, when running on a frozen road surface, a side slip may also be prevented because the fine steel wires at the tread portions 3, 4 are inclined toward the center line of the tire.
