Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce exposure rate as well as to shorten photographic condition setting time by automatically setting the tube current value in response to the optimum exposure by only one time preliminary radiation. CONSTITUTION:X-rays are radiated through an X-ray tube 1 by X-ray radiation starting signals, the X-rays are detected through a subject 2 by detector 3, the detected current is integrated by an integrator, this integrated value is compared with the output from an optimum exposure setter 5, when the both come to be consistent with each other, X-ray radiateion stop signals are output through a comparator 6 to stop the X-ray radiation. The hour from the X-ray radiation starting time until the time to invert the output through the comparator becomes the radiating hour to obtain the optimum exposure, which can be obtained by a counter 9. The outputs are supplied as control signals in a filament heating circuit 15 throuth a counter 14, etc.
