Abstract

PURPOSE:To control an inner and outer air introducing condition properly by a method wherein a temperature in a cabin, an open-air temperature and a desired temperature are detected respectively and the introducing condition is controlled so as to circulate the inner air when the temperature in the cabin is discriminated to be higher than a set level determined by the desired temperature and the open-air temperature. CONSTITUTION:A ventilating duct 1, formed with outer and inner air sucking ports 1a, 1b at an upper-stream side thereof, is provided therein with an inner and outer air damper 2, a blower motor 3, an evaporator 4, a heater core 5, an A/M damper 7 and a blow-out port damper 8 sequentially from the upper-stream side thereof and the respective functional elements 2-5, 7, 8 are controlled by a controller 10. Here, the controller 10 sets the damper 2 to an inner air circulating position to effect a rapid cooling when a deviation between the temperature in the cabin and a set temperature in an operation step of the sucking port is higher compared with a rapid cooling constant depending on the open-air temperature. When said deviation has become small and the rapid cooling is judged that it is not necessary, the damper 2 is set to an outer-air introducing position.
