Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect an error at a transmission side, by sending data, received at a reception side, back to the transmission side without increasing the number of transmission lines. CONSTITUTION:Data a1...an from the master controller are supplied to one-side input terminals of OR circuits 11...1n, whose outputs are transmitted to the slave controller via the 1st transmission lines 21...2n. Signals transmitted to this slave controller side, on the other hand, are sent back to the master controller side again via OR circuits 121...12n and the 2nd transmission lines 41...4n. In the master controller, comparing circuit 3 compares signals, sent to the slave controller side, with those sent back from the slave controller side to detect an error. Further, data transmitted to the master controller side via the 2nd transmission lines are sent back to the slave controller side via the 1st transmission line and comparing circuit 13 detects their error.
