Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a unit of simple structure that is easily manufactured and high in utility value by partially notching an antenna array element on a dielectric substrate at the center part in a nearly right-left symmetric shape and by building a transmitting-receiving circuit part in the notch. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of dielectric substrate 11, earth conductor layer 12 is formed an in conductor layer 12, slots 13 as antenna elements are formed in array. On the other surface of dielectric substrate 11, feeder made of a microstrip line is arrayed corresponding to slots 13. This feeder 14 is divided into two right and left parts in the center; and one half side is notched at the part that corrresponds to two feeders in a vertical plane and at the opposite side that corresponds to the above-mentioned part, the width of the strip line forming the feeder is so fixed that electric power will be doubled. Then, housing 17 containing the transmitting- receiving circuit part is formed in the same size with the notched part and connected to the connection terminal part of feeder 14 being built in the part.
