PURPOSE:To prevent the production of flattering phenomenon due to rapid variation of reproduced picture, by providing the signal used for slow motion reproduction so that the magnetic head in reproduction can be displaced with the tracking drive mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The direction of extension of magnetic space of the magnetic heads Ha1, Ha2 is located for a small angle toward crockwise direction than the orghogonal direction to the extension of the recording trace of magnetic tape, and that of the magnetic heads Hb1, Hb2 is located for that toward counterclockwise direction than that.
