Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the compound regenerating material superior in variance in regenerating density, heat exchange rate and capable of keeping stoutness, workability and constancy of regeneration and radiation by dispersing powdery or granular inorganic latent heat type regenerating material into a reaction curing type resin.
CONSTITUTION: The inorganic latent heat type regenerating material is selected from among those 10kcal/kg or above in quantity of latent heat, 20kcal/l or over in regenerating density ane 250°C or below in fusing point and peritectic point; and for example, anhydrous salts like mercury and titanium tetrachloride are used therefor. The latent heat type regenerating material is dispersed and mixed in a reaction curing type resin, and then hardened through curing reaction of foaming reaction. In this case, the reaction curing type resin to use is selected from among those which have a viscosity to disperse the regenerating material easily and a performance to follow a change in volume of the regenerating material at solidification or fusion and which do not permeate into the regenerating material at fusion. These may come in, for example, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, etc. A compound regenerating material superior in regenerating performance is thus obtainable.
