Abstract
PURPOSE: To reproduce an edited tape normally, by delaying and recording a signal sequence to be connnected, to a signal sequence which is recorded, and also recording an editing point discrimination signal.
CONSTITUTION: When the editing connection point has been decided by monitoring aural signals of the tapes A, B which are stored in the internal memory of the electronic editing control unit 203, each tape address is set to the unit 203. Subsequently, the first and second tape recorders 201, 202 are synchronized respectively and are made to run under the control of the control signal such as a time code, etc., and they are controlled so that the reproducing head of the recorder 201 and the recording head of the recorder 202 can be matched at the same time. In this case, however, the recorder 202 is shifted immediately to the recording mode when it has reached the editing connection point, by being sure to delay the information of the tape A to be shifted, by use of the delay circuit 205, and also the editing point discrimination signal is recorded into the editing control track of the tape A. Thus, an edited tape can be reproduced normally without generating an abnormal sound.
