Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a synergistic effect of rust prevention, by adding the N-acylamino acid and the lecithin to the rust preventive oil or the like. CONSTITUTION:As to N-acylamino acid the substances of straight chain, branched chain, saturation and unsaturation having 8-20 carbon numbers are available as acyl radical and then glycine, alanine, valine, leucine, etc. are available as amino acid respectively. The lecithin includes in a wide sense phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl ethanolamine, etc. The mixing ratio between the two is preferably 1/4- 4wt%. This rust preventive agent is added to the rustpreventive oil or the like in an amount of 0.1-1wt% based on the base oil. Thus a synergistic effect of rust prevention can be obtained with a high degree of safety.
