Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the alumina coating having a superior exfoliation resistance, by maintaining the alumina alloy bath added a fixed quantity of specific element, at a fixed temperature and performing the primary and secondary heat treatment under a fixed condition after impregnating the metal product for a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:Alloy bath added 3-20wt% at least one kind element among Sn, Mg and Ni, is maintained at 700-950 deg.C and metal product 10 is immersed for 30-120sec and then, the Al plated layer 11 containing added element in Al and the Al diffused layer 12 are formed. Next, the primary heat treatment is performed in 750-950 deg.C oxidizing atmosphere for 0.5-1hr and the secondary heat treatment is performed in 950-1,350 deg.C oxidizing atmosphere for 1-3hr and then, the mixed coating 14 of ZnO and ZnAl2O4 having a spinel structure is formed. Moreover, said coating 14 and the alumina layer 13 are changed into the composite oxidized metal layer 15 having the spinel structure and thinned alumina layer 13' is covered with the layer 15. Hereby, superior oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance are secured.
