Abstract

PURPOSE: To block the power source short current caused by the trouble of the control circuit, by adding the 2nd switch circuit of the adverse-operation type in series to the switch circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The 2nd switch circuits 22 and 23 are inserted between the phase shifter 10 and the switch circuits 17 and 18 each. The 2nd circuits 22 and 23 perform the opposite operation to that of the circuits 17 and 18 each. In case the circuit 18 is closed by some falut, the circuit 17 is reversed to an open state to block the ignition pulse. On the other hand, the output of the phase shifter 11 never applies the ignition pulse to the thyristor of the bridge 3 since the circuit 23 is opened. As a result, no short is caused to the current of the AC side.
