Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Afterstalling the inspection cassette 10 on the surface of the inspected construction object 4, magnetization is made by flowing current from the power supply 2 of magnetization unit to the magnetizer 1, the magnetic flux 7 is disturbed at the failure part 8, the leakage magnetic flux reaches inside the inspection cassette 10 via the non-conductive elastic thin film 10b, and sharp magnetic powder pattern is drawn on the non-conductive elastic thin film 10b with the magnetic powder 5 not subject to the effect of external water flow. The failure part can be detected with this pattern.
