Abstract
PURPOSE: To turn vaporized substance alone without rotating a centrifugal separator at all by obtaining a rotating force by means of a magnetism in the separation of substances with different masses by a centrifugal force.
CONSTITUTION: A gas containing substances to be separated is introduced from the gas inlet 9 at the lower part of the vacuum container 5 into the vacuum container 5. The gas outlet 10 is connected to a vacuum pump to keep the vacuum degree of the vacuum container 5 constant. In the vacuum container 5, the parallel magnetic field 1 directed upwards is formed by the magnetic field coil 6 and is intersected crossly with the radial electric field 2 formed by the anode 7 and the cathode 8, each is concentrically made of a metal mesh. The charged particles 3 are turned over the cylinder 4 intersecting rectangularly with the magnetic field 1, and by centrifugal force produced by the rotating movement, heavier particles of the charged particles 3 are taken out of the separated particle outlet 12 through the outside separating mesh 11.
