Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit a turbine oil treating system to be safely operated in different operating modes by providing the oil tank with a plurality of overflow means corresponding to the operating oil levels differing according to the operating modes of the turbine.
CONSTITUTION: In a normal operation, that is, when the oil level of an oil tank 41 is NOL, lubricating oil above NOL overflows through a slide pipe 54 in the first overflow sight box 50, and returns to the oil tank 41 through an exhasut pipe 56, an oil cleaner 58 and a pump 62. On the other hand, when an oil feed pump 42 is out of operation, that is, when flow-back is started, an interlock closes an automatic valve 48. Consequently, the oil level in the oil tank 41 rises, and when the level is above FOL, the lubricating oil overflows through a slide pipe 55 in the second overflow sight box 51, and simularly returns to the oil tank 41 through the oil cleaner 58 and the pump 62.
