PURPOSE:To obtain a twisted fancy yarn of high quality, by supplying a binding (floating) yarn and a wadding yarn to the gap between a binding yarn feed roller and a driven roller pressed to said feed roller, and false twisting the yarns under the rollers to regulate the doubling point of the binding yarn with the wadding yarn at a given point. CONSTITUTION:A binding yarn feed roller 3 and a driven roller 4 pressed to said feed roller 3 are provided, and a binding yarn 2 and a wadding yarn 1 are fed to the gap between the rollers 3 and 4. The wadding yarn 1 is unwound from a package 10 by a wadding yarn feeder 9 consisting of a pair of rollers etc. and fed to the gap between the rollers 3 and 4. The binding yarn 2 is unwound from the binding yarn package 8 by the binding yarn feed roller 3. The feed speed of the binding yarn 2 is set at a speed a certain times that of the wadding yarn 1. Both yarns 1 and 2 delivered from the binding yarn feed roller 3 are fed to a false twisting spindle 6 to form a fancy yarn, which is wound by a winding mechanism 7.
