Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent unsteady ignition timing and obtain steady ignition timing by determining the ignition timing by an angle signal which corresponds to a crank position which is delayed by an appropriate angle in a low speed rotation range where hanges in rotation are large. CONSTITUTION:A signal coil 8 for ignition signal generating as an angle position detecting device rotates synchronizing with the rotation of an engine to generate the first angle signal (a) which corresponds to an appropriate crank position of the engine and the second angle signal (b) which corresponds to the crank position which is delayed from the angle signal (a) generating position. A thyrister 7 is cotinued by either signal, and the charge is discharged from a condenser 4 to the primary coil 5a. At a low speed rotation range, the ignition timing is determined only by the angle signal (b) which is delayed by an appropriate angle.
