Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an electronic control fuel injector of an internal combustion engine with the proper control of the rate of air fuel mixture during idling by varying corrective pulse intervals for a delayed opening timing of an injection valve under the manual control of a resistance provided outside the injector.
CONSTITUTION: Signals from a reference voltage power supply 4, various sensors not illustrated in the drawing, and a throttle sensor 2 are input to a control unit 1 to determine pulse intervals at which fuel is injected from an injection valve. The unit 1 is connected to an air flow meter 3 consisting of resistances R5, R6. The resistance R5 is manually controlled to correct an opening lag of the injection valve inside the unit during idling for proper pulse intervals.
