Abstract

PURPOSE:To make data transmission possible with one optical fiber cable to reduce the number of used devices, by converting parallel aquired data to series data in a light delay circuit by series conversion. CONSTITUTION:Pulses generated by pulse generating part 9 are applied to light source 1 and are converted to a light pulse signal, and this signal is transmitted to light branching circuit 2 through optical fiber cable 7. The light pulse signal is divided into three by circuit 2 and is radiated to the space from lenses 4, 4a and 4b, and the photosignal which permeates light digital sensor 3 is received by light detecting lenses 4', 4'a, and 4'b. The light received by lenses 4'a and 4'b is delayed in light delay circuits 10a and 10b by a prescribed time and becomes a series pulse train at the output point of light synthesizer 11. Consequently, this pulse train is led to photoelectric conversion part 5 through one optical fiber cable 7C and is converted to electric pulses and is transmitted to data processing unit 8. The timing signal required for the processing in unit 8 is sent from pulse generating part 9 to unit 8.
